Write and edit your course by asking

A course assistant now sits inside the editor. It drafts lessons, rewrites the pages you point at and adds images — and nothing changes until you accept.

  • The course editor with the course assistant panel open on the right. The panel reads Ask about this course, and a request to add a short lesson is typed in the box.

    Open Chat about this course from the editor. The assistant sees the whole course and knows which lesson you have open.

  • A proposed lesson, Handling Complaints, in the editor. Each page has a tick and a cross, a banner says the entire lesson is proposed, and the bar at the bottom reads Proposed: 8 changes, Nothing is saved until you accept, with Before, After, Discard all and Accept.

    Every change arrives as a proposal, shown right where it would land. Nothing is saved until you accept.

  • Select pages mode: one proposed page is highlighted on the canvas, the panel shows 1 page selected, and the request Make the page I selected shorter and friendlier is typed.

    Switch on Select pages and click a page to tell the assistant exactly what to work on.

    A follow-up revises the proposal in place. Keep a part with ✓ or leave it out with ✗.

    Images are proposed too, and reviewed like any other change.

Open a course in the editor and press Chat about this course. The assistant already knows the course and the lesson you are on, so you can ask in plain language: add a lesson to this chapter, make this page shorter and friendlier, rename these lessons, put a background image on the first page. To point it at particular pages, switch on Select pages and click them on the canvas.

Whatever it suggests comes back as a proposal you review in place. The editor shows exactly what would change, with Before and After to compare, a ✓ or ✗ on every page and block, and Accept or Discard all at the bottom. Nothing is saved until you decide, and anything the assistant changed can be undone. The first time you open it, Show me around walks you through a real proposal on your own course.

The assistant works one chapter at a time. For quizzes, use Generate with AI in the assessment editor; to start a whole new course, ask the Nadifor AI assistant (⌘K). The course assistant must be enabled in your workspace.

Get a course reviewed before it goes live

Add reviewers from the Publish button. They comment page by page and approve the exact version that ships.

    Fix feedback walks you through every comment in the editor, one page at a time.

Publishing hasn’t changed: Publish Course then Publish now is still two clicks. When a course deserves a second pair of eyes, choose Add reviewers in the same dialog, pick colleagues by name or email, and click Send for review. The course stays readable, but editing pauses until the review is over, so everyone looks at the same version.

Reviewers find the request under Waiting for your review on their Home page and in their notifications. They read the course as a learner would, attach notes to the pages that need work, and either Approve this version or send it back with their notes. Fix feedback then walks you through every comment in the editor, and only the people who asked for changes look again. Publish approved version publishes exactly what was reviewed, and everything is kept under Publish & review history.

Rehearse difficult conversations with Coach Practice

Put feedback into another attempt, with support before, during, and after the conversation.

Choose a sparring partner or describe your own scenario in Coach → Practice, then Join the call to rehearse with Coach playing the other side. Ask Coach me for private written guidance, or put the call on hold while you think. End the call for a Practice review of the moves you landed, evidence from the conversation, and what to try next time.

Spoken conversations extend to Chat, Goals, and Practice setup. Select Voice mode in the composer to talk with Coach: your words appear in the dialogue as you speak, and Coach answers aloud. You can interrupt to add something or mute your microphone without ending the session. Coach must be enabled in your workspace.
